THE COURSE OF PHOTOGRAPHING THE NORTHERN LIGHTS
Photograph the northern lights with your own SLR camera with the guidance of an experienced northern lights photographer! Under the guidance of a guide, you will receive expert guidance on managing photography settings and learn to save the magical moments of the northern lights. During the course, you will receive guidance on, among other things:
1. Correct settings for the camera - Controlling the shutter speed, ISO value and aperture, which are key to capturing the northern lights.
2. Optimizing viewing angles and composition - To bring out the Aurora Borealis and landscapes perfectly in the pictures.
3. Choosing a location - How to choose the best shooting location to avoid light pollution and how to schedule the shooting according to the northern lights.
The guide offers tips on choosing a suitable lens, the importance of using a tripod, anticipating the northern lights and using natural phenomena as part of your photos. This guide ensures that you manage to capture the magnificent splendor of the northern lights and the Arctic landscape in the best possible way. Pictures taken under the northern lights are a wonderful way to capture an unforgettable moment in the Arctic landscape.
You can also go on the trip without your own camera, in which case you can fully enjoy watching the northern lights while our guide takes care of the photography.
Excursion duration: 2 to 4 hours, depending on the activity of the northern lights and the weather
Price: €125/person
Number of participants: min. 2 persons, max. 8 people
The tour include: - teaching services of the guide
- car transport from ArcticRajaInn accommodation to the shooting location
- hot juice and cookies
- photos taken by the guide of you under the northern lights (if the northern lights are present)
The trip does not include:
- camera, wide-angle lens suitable for photographing the northern lights, and camera tripod.
warm coverall, footwear and gloves for the duration of the trip
Please note that the northern lights are a natural phenomenon that we cannot control and cannot predict with sufficient certainty. Sometimes it can happen that the northern lights are not visible or they are visible very weakly. If the weather forecast promises cloudy weather, the northern lights excursion will not be organized.
